In this video i go through some of the questions I got during traveling the united states

Congo main 84- Nice Train Piece

This train piece was given to me by one of my close hometown friends before endovering on the journey of traveling across the united states. It was meant to be a metaphor of what was to come in the future. There had been a few vlogs where I started recording my situation of being kicked out of my house during the pandemic.

Mountain Photos My friend owned me for something in the past and during this time he was exploring creating 3D Printing. I decided to request a train. This was about two weeks before I decided to travel the United States at 19 on Amtrak for 30 days. The train was a last minute idea to have somewhere to stay while I was kicked out of my home and waiting for college.

Rocky- swing by raleigh NC.

The Previous year I had visited Raleigh NC for a few days and visited rocky. This was a suggestion to come visit him. However I was restrained on my budget and what I had already spent.

When I got to North Carolina I still had another half of the country to travel. Like I had said previously this planning was about two week in advance while working above full time and commuting two hours a day or more to work.

Any footage pics from the train ride? While video from the trade ride-

Coach Seats Amtrak On the first train ride form the Empire Builder for 3 days there was a lot of different terrain to record and a lot of different feelings going into it. There were my actual vlogs where i shared the clips and some of me talking and full videos of the train looking out the window.

3 days on a train with nothing to worry about and no expectations of the travel ahead was relaxing. You can look out the window at anytime and see the vast landscapes. The train went above highways, around rivers, through mountains and ridges.

This is so cool I’ve never seen anything like this before we have to plan something for year 2.

I think the most fascinating thing about being on a train for such a long duration was the people I talked to, the landscapes i met and the stories that traveled with me. The idea of taking a train around the country was not something I had ever planned on doing. It was spontaneous.

As I met more people on the train I realized that riding the trian was relatively commonplace. People had jobs to get to, families had to go places. And this was the most awakening moment of different people and different lives. Most riders were older and not in their adolescents riding around the United states for fun and somewhere with a roof on my head.

I had planned to go to most major cities despite the pandemic, because I didn’t have an initial plan going into the journey.

Nice One

This is in response to the Seattle Cinematic video. The cinematic videos through this journey from Seattle, New Orleans, Chicago, New York were all planned day of. I planned the previous night where I was to go to shoot the shots I wanted. I searched locations to take photos and talked with people from these individual cities. Where was the best places for these videos?

Although I would have liked more people to be involved in this video it was not possible with the pandemic and my time frame in the cities I visited.

Each cinematic video was meant to share my feelings of the trip and how it progressed through time. I would say that the Seattle cinematic video had a darker tone but it justified what I was feeling of being a little lost but having fun. When I got to Chicago I felt close to home but I didn’t feel like it was home. Chicago was a different territory that I felt I should have known of earlier. As I went further to New York I found a true purpose to carpe diem as much as possible. New Orleans and Tuscon were my final stops where I adjusted back to reality and how everything had led up to that point. The run away to coming back “home”.

Sunsets are life

Probably one of the longer journeys was this 2 dat stretch from New Orleans to Tucson. I had left my friend in North Carolina to again begin my journey alone to finish what I had been set out to do in the last few days of my rail pass.

This amazing sunset led into entering tucson. The sunset was so amazing that the mountains made a halo effect. This was the perfect tie in which I created a video talking about sunsets.

But I’ve come so accustomed to going out during sunset that it feels a part of me. Not only that i have researched a bit too much of what makes a sunset a sunset and the physical and mathematical way sunsets work.

Blue ridge mountains

Shoutout to griffin. Griffin talked to me throughout the trip and allowed me to stay with him for a few days and had the pleasure of hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains with him.
